June 20, 2008 Letter to Webcasting.com's Managed Services Clients

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL WEBCASTING.COM'S EO3 CLIENTS:

Let me start out first by thanking you all for being my clients.  I can tell you without a doubt, that the past 12-14 months have been some of the best in my life (and I lived in Europe for two years!).  I've had that much fun operating all of your webcasts and working so closely with all of you.

You all took a chance on me and I can't thank you all enough for that.  In return, myself and all of Webcasting.com's staff work feverishly - sometimes until the early morning hours to make sure of one thing - that you are compliant with the Executive Order for which you've hired us for.

As you may know, Governor Paterson's first order on March 20th was to review all prior executive orders and decide within 90 days which to keep and which to revoke.  Today is the 90 day mark.

The Governor's office has not yet posted his decisions on ny.gov, but I have obtained a copy of his Executive Order 9, which states which prior Executive Orders to keep and which to revoke.

I'm pleased to forward this copy to you.  As you can see, the Governor has chosen to continue Governor Spitzer's Executive Order 3, the order which requires you to webcast your open meetings.  Interestingly, of Governor Spitzer's first 7 executive orders, Executive Order 3 was the only one Governor Paterson chose to continue.

I know a few of you may be somewhat reluctant to hear this news because EO3 adds a burden to your organization.  I want to let you know that I am STILL committed 100% to our philosophy which we started with - Full Compliance with Zero Hassle and total affordability. 

That's been our goal since the beginning and that is our goal going forward. 

Webcasting.com has been fully committed to each and every one of you from the beginning and I want you to know that that will continue going forward.  Thank you all again for believing in us over the past year.
