Real-Time Live Webcasting
Webcasting.com's Content Delivery Network is designed to handle any number of simultaneous viewers whether your audience is 5 or 500,000. We can stream in a number of formats including Windows Media, Real Player, and Quicktime. Here's a diagram that basically describes how we do Live Webcasting:
 On-Demand Webcasting
We store your content on our Content Delivery Network. We have a number of storage solutions that can accomodate both bandwidth and storage file size requirements. If we do your Live streaming, we can make your on-demand video available almost immediately after the event!
Audio and Video Production
We offer a range of webcasting services - including video production. We use professional 3-chip video cameras. We can also do multiple cameras with live switching.
Agenda Indexing - Video Segmentation
If you have a long event (+30 Minutes), it's extremely important to give your viewers the ability to jump to different segments of the video. This allows them to immediately go to the point in the video that is relevant to them. This is called Video Segmentation. An example would be a meeting with an agenda. What we do is make each agenda item clickable so the video starts right at that point!
Here's an example: NYS Department of Housing and Community Renewal
Webcasting Accessibility Services
We specialize in making our webcasts available to the largest number of users, including people who are deaf and hard of hearing and people with visual impairments. We offer open and closed captioning on BOTH our live and on-demand platforms - and we give the user the option to turn the captioning on or off. We also provide Descriptive Video services.
